How did you first hear about CREW Portland?: I have multiple connections involved with CREW and recently attended the Corkscrew event, which was a ton of fun. I have been interested in joining for a few years, and I finally did!
What motivated you to join CREW Portland?: Networking/business development and advancing women's leadership in the industry
How did you get here?: I have a degree in photography and digital arts, so I am very creative but I also have a business mindset. Marketing turned out to be a great blend of these qualities for me. I started in the AEC industry in architecture as an office manager and marketing assistant, eventually working my way up to a director of marketing/business development. After 10 years in architecture, I made the decision one year ago to join Skanska as their director of marketing to try something new and learn more about construction.
Tell us something we didn't know about you?: I absolutely love horror movies
If you could describe yourself in three words what would they be?: Adventurous, passionate, outgoing
Favorite Travel Destination?: I visited Costa Rica earlier this year, and want to go back ASAP!
What is one goal you would like to achieve through CREW?: Strengthen my industry connections
