- How did you first hear about CREW Portland?
- In the past, several work acquaintances are/have been members of CREW. They enjoyed the connections and involvement they shared with other members in the organization. In the previous year, I moved from my past employer where I spent 23 years at a large financial institution and in 2020 became part of a smaller organization. Part of this change has led to my aspiration to connect with others in the real estate profession and rebuild relationships.
- What motivated you to join CREW Portland?
- Networking, Business Development, Career Advancement, Meet Inspiring People, Volunteer, Be a voice for women in Commercial Real Estate.
- How did you get here?
- I started in banking 25 years ago as a teller, banker, operations manager and spent the last 19 years in commercial banking working my way up as an associate, credit analysts, relationship manager (commercial banker) to manager/team lead (23 years with a large bank and the last 1 ½ years with a small community bank). Working with business owners/CRE investors achieving their goals; specializing in bank financing and relationship manager is what I know.
- Tell us something we didn't know about you?
- I believe it’s important to connect with everyone either on a personal or emotional level to build trust and transparency. I’m a mother of three children (26, 19, 16) raising them while balancing a career. We have 3 dogs, 2 chickens, 1 tortoise (yes we live in the country). I was once a soccer mom traveling the 1-5 freeway and now a moto-mom (my youngest races motocross). I love to be outside skiing, hiking and trying to new things.
- If you could describe yourself in three words what would they be?
- Passionate | Relator | Hardworking
- Favorite Travel Destination?
- Sunny Warm Beach. I would love to travel Europe.
- What is one goal you would like to achieve through CREW?
- Expand my knowledge around commercial real estate by building connections with others in the industry.
