How did you first hear about CREW Portland?: Trish Nixon invited me to a CREW event.
What motivated you to join CREW Portland?: Networking, Business Development, Meet Inspiring People, Be a Voice for Women in Commercial Real Estate. Also to hear about upcoming projects or opportunities from various speakers.
How did you get here?: My father was a civil engineer, so I was inspired by him to go into the profession. I studied civil engineering at Trine University in Angola, Indiana. By the time I got my master’s at Cornell University, there was a demand for structural engineers in the A/E/C industries. I was just at the right place at the right time.
Tell us something we didn't know about you?: I was featured in an exhibit at Portland’s Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) called “Designing Our World: A Community Envisioning Girls as Engineers.”
If you could describe yourself in three words what would they be?: Creative Thinker | Collaborator | Tree Lover
Favorite Travel Destination?: Anywhere in the world where I can rock climb.
What is one goal you would like to achieve through CREW?: Meet strong and accomplished women in my industry to build working relationships.
