How did you get here?
My father was a civil engineer, so I was inspired by him to go into the profession. I studied civil engineering at Trine University in Angola, Indiana. By the time I got my master’s at Cornell University, there was a demand for structural engineers in the A/E/C industries. I was just at the right place at the right time.

I was featured in an exhibit at Portland’s Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) called “Designing Our World: A Community Envisioning Girls as Engineers.”
