How did you get here?
Born in Toronto Canada, I was indoctrinated to the real estate business, by assisting my father, an entrepreneur and owner of his own multifamily properties. I moved to Portland in 1980 and continued my Real Estate career in property management for Guardian Management and later C & R Realty Services, where I received an award from Multifamily Housing Council as Property Manager of the year, overseeing 315 units. My enthusiasm and proficiency for the business grew to transition into apartment site acquisition, feasibility studies, construction management and development for Viking Properties, where I worked for over a decade. Attaining the position of asset manager, I worked to increase the NOI, and strategically sold each property as market conditions became advantageous. Due to the substantial increase of ROI to the investors, I cultivated the company to its next level of replacement property in the commercial sector; acquiring shopping centers, office buildings and warehouses in multiple states. I continued to grow with the company and transitioned into the commercial property manager role. I has also worked for Killian Pacific and Norris & Stevens, Inc., and have been an owner myself.

I am an avid hiker, skier, tango dancer. Have competed in over 30 Triathlons in the last 6 years.
