How did you first hear about CREW Portland?

I don't recall the exact moment. It could have been through casual conversations or social media. Regardless, I'm grateful I did!

What motivated you to join CREW Portland?

What drew me in was the mix of opportunities it offers. It's not just about rubbing shoulders with people who share similar interests; CREW seems to go above and beyond, providing a space for professional growth that's hard to resist. And let's not forget the opportunity to pour into the next wave of talent, or the opportunities for business development!

How did you get here?

Starting as an Assistant Project Manager at Russell Construction, my journey took an exciting turn when Walen Construction and Russell Construction merged in 2021, officially welcoming me into the Walen team. Fast forward a year, our marketing position opened up, and I eagerly seized the opportunity. It felt like the ideal moment to meld my project management experience with my creative flair. It's been quite the ride - packed with fresh challenges, thrilling projects, and a whole bunch of new stories waiting to be shared!

Tell us something we didn't know about you?

I'm not just a plant enthusiast or casual gardener; my coworkers and close friends affectionately refer to me as the "Crazy Plant Lady," and I'm known for having an overflowing jungle at my desk!

If you could describe yourself in three words what would they be?

Dynamic, Optimistic, Resourceful

Favorite Travel Destination?

I'm currently eyeing Tulum or Zion National Park! If there's even a remote chance to sink my toes into sandy beaches, soak up warm waters, or sprinkle in a bit of adventure, you can count me in. I'm a pretty easy sell for destinations that promise a good time!

What is one goal you would like to achieve through CREW?

My goal is to leverage CREW's resources and expertise, not just for my own growth, but to bring back fresh ideas that will help propel Walen Construction forward. I'm excited about the opportunity to contribute to our company's leadership, inclusivity, and community engagement efforts.
