How did you get here?

My background and career has been primarily in accounting and finance. I started my career in public accounting at Moss Adams in Portland where I obtained my CPA license. From there I have worked in different industries from public to private in accounting/finance roles. I ultimately landed in commercial real estate in my current role after I had taken some time off work to recalibrate. Through previous connections from public accounting I was able to work with a recruiter at BolyWelch who knew of the job opportunity at Pingree. This was an opportunity to create a property accounting department from the ground up at a small company, learn about real estate and flex my entrepreneurial muscles which was really intriguing. I am now the Operations and Accounting Manager and support in various aspects of the company from accounting to HR, strategy and business development.

Tell us something we didn't know about you?

I once lived abroad in South Korea for 6 months teaching English. When I was in middle school I was really good a bowling and had a high 200 average. Really nerdy...but makes bowling outings with co-workers more fun. I'm a mom to a sweet two-year old boy named Soren and a vivacious 8-year girl named June (my step-daughter).

Paris

What is one goal you would like to achieve through CREW?

A goal I have is to build more relationships with women leaders in real estate.
