How did you first hear about CREW Portland?
Through friends/colleagues who are CREW members. (eg. Marissa Meisner, Christine Zinkgraf, Kelsey Machuca)
What motivated you to join CREW Portland?
The CREW programs I have attended are always so interesting and timely, and I genuinely look forward to connecting with other women in the CRE + AEC communities each time I attend a CREW Portland event.
How did you get here?
I believe I have arrived at my current position by practicing extreme empathy alongside the practice of architecture and design. My work is driven by how it engages people on all levels – through conversation, care, compromise, commitment, trust, and achieving desired outcomes together.
Tell us something we didn't know about you?
I am a true bibliophile, often reading 4-5 books at a time.
If you could describe yourself in three words what would they be?
Gregarious, compassionate, resilient
Favorite Travel Destination?
Morocco is on the top of my bucket list. The vibrant colors, geometric patterns, intricate tile work, scattered light through punched-tin fixtures - it's just all so dreamy.
What is one goal you would like to achieve through CREW?
I would like to continuing building relationships by collaborating with other professionals and expanding my perspective on different organizational cultures and governance models. I am also very interested in mentorship, both as a mentor and a (lifelong) mentee.
