(Portland, Ore. – Dec. 10, 2025)  – Portland stands at a pivotal moment for commercial real estate investment. The upcoming 31st CREW Portland Forecast Breakfast will equip executives with insights, strategies, and bold leadership to elevate Portland as a top destination for developers, investors, businesses and residents. Dynamic discussion is underway and will be further explored at the 2026 forecast event.

The event is offered by Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Portland. Registration is now open for the Friday, Jan. 16, 2026 Forecast Breakfast event, with doors opening at 8:15 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Portland, near the Oregon Convention Center.

“We have decisions and opportunities as a city and a region, so we’ll be discussing how to leverage location intelligence and workforce analytics, and how we drive change as we connect and strategize how to garner investments that grow our commercial viability,” said Caitlin Pettijohn, incoming 2026 President for CREW Portland.

Keynote speaker Bret Swango, CFA, Head of Location Intelligence and Workforce Analytics for Colliers, will address how evolving economic, technological, and political dynamics shape the value and relative attractiveness of metropolitan areas nationwide.

“We’ll be exploring the key data points behind the macro trends shaping demand and the opportunity for regions like Portland to be on the right side of the dramatic changes that lie ahead,” said Swango. “There has never been a more ripe environment for individuals, firms and communities to catapult themselves ahead of the competition than exists today.”

Following the keynote, the panel discussion with Angela Wilhelms of Oregon Business & Industry, Madeline Miller of ECOnorthwest, and Steve Wells of Trammell Crow Company and moderated by Suzanne Stevens, Editor-in-Chief at Portland Business Journal, will focus on actionable ways to bolster Portland’s investment climate. The panel will also discuss the compelling case for continued and increased investment in Portland, supported by fresh data and proven analytics.
