How did you get here?
I started in the CRE industry in Disaster Restoration back in 2013, where I got to learn very quickly about working with various stakeholders in chaos. I really enjoyed the problem solving aspects of this type of work, creating relationships with the teams of everyone involved, and being a resource for so many. In 2015 Evolution Architecture was founded, and I knew the owners through networking and the industry, and was made an offer after about 8 months of the firm's creation. Since then our Firm's brand, culture, and success has been built and growing, in 2020 we were working in 5 states! It's been a whirl wind and has been a blessing to curate this brand from scratch with my team. We are now working on growing our business with more pressure in the markets we're working in, but not aggressively. I'm really looking forward to getting to know more people and business in Portland!
Tell us something we didn't know about you?
Before I was working in the AEC industry I worked at a barn riding horses. Best (and hardest) job I ever had ... working with incredible animals and met some of the best people.
