How did you first hear about CREW Portland?: I met a CREW member when I was living up in Seattle. Because I knew I was moving soon, I held off joining. Here in Portland my coworker, Tracey Olson, reminded me of the group and encouraged me to get involved.
What motivated you to join CREW Portland?: Networking, Meet Inspiring People, Volunteer
How did you get here?: I've always been interested in art and architecture and interior design, for me, is where those things come together. Out of school I worked on a team doing almost strictly creative workplace design for tech giants. I've chosen to continue down this path, always building on my knowledge of workplace trends, health and well being, biophilic design, etc. Recently I've been working with CBRE and have gotten the chance to learn more about what's happening on the real estate side of things and find that it's very relevant to what we're doing as designers.
Tell us something we didn't know about you?: Most of my free time is consumed by a 150lb Great Dane puppy!

Favorite Travel Destination?: Japan
What is one goal you would like to achieve through CREW?: Gain knowledge on commercial real estate in general - a side that we don't often deal with much as designers. Also, get to know and be inspired by other smart, driven women around the city.
