Let Knowledge Serve the City: PSU's future goals and their impact on Portland
Portland's downtown university was named by US News and World Report as one of the “most innovative universities” in the nation and is nationally recognized for its undergraduate curriculum and sustainability initiatives.

Join us at the CREW October luncheon with speakers Dr. Sona Karentz Andrews, PSU Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Erin Flynn, PSU Associate Vice President for Strategic Partnerships.
Dr. Andrews and Dr. Flynn will share an inside look at PSU's future, including PSU's new 5-year strategic plan and its partnerships with Smart Cities Research and the Innovation Quadrant. These partnerships involve the implementation of technology to manage urban growth as well as driving innovation and investment in the life sciences, technology, education and entrepreneurship. This luncheon is an exciting opportunity to preview what the future of Portland looks like through the eyes of two of its most influential educators.
Dr. Sona Karentz Andrews completed her undergraduate degree in Geography from Worcester State College in Massachusetts and her MA and PhD in Geography from Arizona State University. Dr. Andrews currently serves as chair of the Oregon Humanities Board and the Executive Committee of the WICHE Western Academic Leadership Forum.
Dr. Erin Flynn received her PhD in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and her BA in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. She oversees the award winning Portland State Business Accelerator PSU's Center for Entrepreneurship. She is currently spearheading the development of Portland's Innovation Quadrant.
