The Portland Metro area is nationally recognized for its advocacy, tenacity and creativeness when it comes to providing quality, affordable housing for families and individuals. But it takes more than just a building – it takes a village of passionate and dedicated people in  government, financial institutions and community organizations working together to fulfill the goal that every person will have an affordable home in a vibrant community.

Join us to learn more about the development, management and support services that are integral to a successful affordable housing community. Amanda Saul, Pacific Northwest Senior Program Director, Enterprise Community Partners, Inc. and Jessica Woodruff, Housing Project Manager, REACH Community Development will share with you the challenges and triumphs in today's affordable housing industry.

Since 1982 Enterprise Community Partners, Inc., headquartered in Columbia, MD,  has raised and invested nearly $14 billion in equity, grants and loans to help build or preserve 300,000 affordable rental and for sale homes to create vital communities and more than half a million jobs nationwide.
REACH Community Development, headquartered in Portland, has a portfolio of over 1,800 units including new and renovated plexes, apartment buildings and mixed- use developments located across the Portland metro area. One of their newest projects, Gray's Landing located in South Waterfront, is a model of sustainability and livability. REACH also provides a wide range of resident services and community building programs to support the families and individuals it serves.
